More Fun in Hawaii

See, we really did present there! Here's Michelle giving her presentation, which was well received by all.

We then went out for dinner at our favourite sushi place. We sat on the balcony, and in the park below there was a free concert going on. There were dancers doing traditional Hawaiian dances, and explaining what each dance represented. It was very neat to see.

After dinner we wandered down the beach to the Moana Surfrider. Several friends recommended that we stop there for a drink. We did, and sat right on the beach. We were wondering why there were 2 boats moored off shore, so we asked the waitress. It turns out that a Japanese cosmetics company was having a party at a bar near the Surfrider, and was planning a big fireworks show. We decided to order another a drink and hang around for that. It was great! They had flowers, happy faces, and lots of other great things. I took a ton of pictures, although I didn't quite get it right. Some of them were fun anyway, so I'll post them. I'll have to practice taking pictures of fireworks so I can get it right eventually. I didn't load them all - I took about 120!
