Not surprisingly, we did a lot of walking. We passed this house almost every day. We couldn't believe the number of pigeons on the roof! We also noticed that they lost their love bird - so sad!

Flip Flops and Dinner
When in Hawaii, flip flops are a necessity! I have never owned flips flops before, so it was tough to pay the price for them, but I wanted some that would actually be comfortable. I bought ones that are made of yoga mats! Talk about comfortable - I was actually able to do quite a lot of walking in them. Got a burn on the top of my feet though, since they don't usually get much sun.
Michelle was checking email. Had to take advantage of each trip through the lobby since there was no internet access in the hotel rooms.
These flowers were in the entryway of the hotel.

I also wanted to get some good pictures of water splashing. Here are my first few attempts.
The evening sky is very beautiful.
We stumbled on a bar called Rum Fire on our walk. It was happy hour, so we stayed to have some snacks and a drink. We were sitting right on the beach, so the view was great. We also had a fun conversation with the people next to us. We ended up heading back to the bar a few times we liked it so much.
The catamarans took people out on tours. It was pretty cheap, $20 for a hour, but we didn't go out. It was nice to watch them coming in and out though.

These bicycle racks are all over Waikiki.
We decided to take the beach to get to the restaurant for dinner. We underestimated how high the waves would come up the beach though! We both got a bit wet, but Michelle took the brunt of it. I had shorts on, so it wasn't so bad for me.
I really like the pink hotel.
